"Array of Life" - Philanthropic Partnership Opportunities
Public Service in the Solar Industry
The Array of Life program matches corporate donations of solar equipment with Solar Electric Light Fund (SELF) installations that bring electricity to the 1.7 billion people in the developing world who live far from the grid.
SELF has committed to installing 40 small-scale systems to power health clinics in Haiti, Rwanda, Lesotho and Malawi with Partners In Health (PIH), and an equal number of solar drip irrigations systems and "whole village" programs in Benin. Other SELF projects include schools in South Africa and an ecological reserve in the Amazon.
